beautifully intimate capture. The OOF ladies either side just make the shot that extra special. Makes your eye go straight to the centre .7Artisans 50mm f1.1 View attachment 371650

I remember in 2016 when you posted some pics and I commented then that I felt an enormous pressure photographing newborns, going on to say (probably for safety's sake) "don't shoot wide open". Well you've completely blown that theory out of the water with these fantastic pics.

Her face tells the story and her dark eyes stop you from looking away. Nice image!Thirteen is a difficult age: Am I a woman or a girl? How old were Romeo & Juliet?

Looking at the 1000yard stare...I'm guessing like most of us...you've taken far too many candids of them! I get the same stare off my teen!A couple of the kiddos. My son chillin', my daughter while doing homework...

Haha - no doubt Scott. At least they are immune to it at this point and I can get some candid photos too.Looking at the 1000yard stare...I'm guessing like most of us...you've taken far too many candids of them! I get the same stare off my teen!
Cute photo. I love the varying energies...definite "one of these things is not like the others" vibes. They say they will be the next Heart. So much energy!

Not sure about the fill flash in this case - at 342mm, it'd need to be very directional and powerful to help. And it might scare/startle others - and the subject.Available light can be patchy. I must take the fill-flash along next time.
