A few from the village of Slapton in south Devon where I used to volunteer at the Field Centre and still go to imbibe a pint or two of strong cider at The Queens Arms.

Church Interior
It's thought the church is built of Charleton stone, so quarried in my own parish some 6 miles away and I presume carried round by ship and landed on the beach some half a mile away. A church was recorded here in 1292 although this building is larger and is of 14th and 15th century construction, the altar was dedicated in 1318.
