The new lens is less contrasty and delivers noticeable less punchy colours, but its rendering is also smoother with very gentle transitions; it's very well suited for monochrome photography. Its older sibling delivers much bolder, warmer colours - but this lens provides a more natural image. As an everyday lens that lends itself equally well to creative and documentary photography, the new lens has major advantages. But it doesn't have as much of a "wow" factor as the first version ...
A typical small farming operation. This type of farming was pretty common for most of the walk where we walked through farmlands. It looks like this farmer is operating a Kuhn mower.
