A different take on today SiJ entry - I *do* love that lens (Voigtländer Nokton 50mm f/1.5 I); this is at f/2.

It might be a Sepia tone, I'll check my Lr settings, if so I'll remove it.
You don't have to! I was just interested; it sure looks more or less monochrome. I'm just not that familiar with what happens to dark tones when toning - so I'm just trying to gain some insight. Of course, you can move it to some other place - it's a great shot, and very nicely processed.

River Yealm, South Devon

The house in the centre of this photograph down by the waters edge was where my favourite uncle lived for over 40 years, the only ways to access it being by boat across the water or by walking some 2 miles from the nearest tarmac (hardtop) road. I spent many happy hours here messing about in boats, rock pooling at low tide and generally learning my basic natural history knowledge.

Fishermans Cottage, Noss Mayo

This is somewhat further up river from the previous image and taken at low water. There are very few "plastic" boats in these images from the 1970's, most are traditionally built.
