I recently lost my LX100 - my wife asked whether I had a spare camera that she could have for when the phone camera doesn't quite cut it. After checking when and what she wanted to shoot, I bravely gave her my very useful LX100.

:(

Then, two days later, I found a very clean used copy of the Typ 109 with a few useful accessories at a tempting price. I made some test shots to check that the sensor was clean - it is - and so now I have a red dotted LX100.

The advantage of mine being the Leica version is that she is less likely to accidentally grab mine instead of hers.

The Leica version lacks the useful front grip of the Pany, but the accessory grip rectifies that deficiency nicely. It also increases the height of the camera, which I'm happy about except that it now doesn't fit in the nice leather case - I guess my wife now has a case for her camera.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a suitable case to hold the Typ 109 with its attached grip, along with a spare battery?

My favorite small bag is the National Geographic NG 1153 Earth Explorer Medium Pouch Shoulder strap that can be used as a waist strap and there is a belt loop.

It fits my X70 with the Gariz half case and Haoge ultra-thin lens hood with adapter ring. It also fits my X-E3 with the 27mm and Gariz half case. I can get the X-E3 with half case and 18mm in, but it's tight and doesn't leave room for any batteries in the front pouch.
