I really regret selling that lens. It doesn’t get talked about much but it sure is a handy way to have a telephoto with you without adding much weight.

Exactly!! In 2018 I was a wide angle man through and through. But of course I was intrigued by the possibilities of a tele. The lenses just all tend to be big and heavy... Enter the 35-100/4-5.6. So compact and featherweight that I felt safe buying it and carry it since it didn't add any weight to my bag. We became fast friends. But still not going to shell out for a 70-200/2.8 no matter how good. 😎
