I have a task that I need to get done but it's tedious and I just don't have the time to do it so I'm thinking of farming it to somebody on Fiverr.
Before I do so, though, I figured I'd check to see if any our community members have kids (or know anybody else, of course) that would be interested in earning some spending money. As I type this I realize also I really should have posted this before the holiday spending season. D'oh!
Requirements:
Here's what I need done....
For the rates, if I end up using Fiverr then it'll be going Fiverr rates but if any our members want to take the project on then it'll be more generous amount. 👍
Sounds like something anybody might be interested in? If so, shoot me off a PM and we can work out the details. Could be fun if anybody is interested in vintage computers.

Requirements:
- Person needs to be able to run VICE or other emulator on their computer.
- Needs to be be able to know how to take full-screen screenshots while running VICE. They need to be full-screen, I don't want a screenshot of the application running inside of the VICE window, just a full-screen shot of the application itself.
- Is able to navigate application running in VICE to scroll through menus, find information I'm after, then transcribe it to a Google Sheets file.
Here's what I need done....
- I supply a zip file with about 250 files.
- Each of the files needs to be loaded into VICE.
- Take a full-screen screenshot of the loading screen & save it to a folder using a set naming convention.
- When the application is fully loaded, take a full-screen screenshot of the main menu & save it to a folder using a set naming convention.
- Navigate through the main menus to find several descriptions that I'm after and transcribe each of the descriptions to a provided Google Sheets file.
- For example, there might be about 10 items listed with a description, each of those time items should have a row in the Google Sheets file, the description shown in the application needs to be typed into the Google Sheets file on the corresponding row.
- The application menus will change a few times as they start from file #1 to file #250 so the person will need to be able to read the application menus and understand what it is they are looking for to find the descriptions.
- If the person is interested in the subject matter and find themselves playing around with the disc contents, then bonus points for taking additional screenshots of the content that they find interesting.
