My Dad's a former Naval Aviator, gave up flying after having my sister and I, so that was decades ago. My son has a Virtual Reality setup that let him fly around a city and surrounding countryside. He was so intensely occupied by the simulation, my son and I pulled acrobatic maneuvers to make sure he didn't trip or run into walls while he was inside virtual space. The look on his face while he was flying around and after it ended - Best. Gift. Ever.
