Nikon Best V1 settings

Hey Herman it depends upon your subjects and shooting style. I normally shoot M but in certain situations I've been shooting A and trusting the cameras metering to put me in the ballpark. I use Auto ISO 100-3200 most of the time because a grainy shot is better than a blurry one. I do wish that there was an easier way to know what ISO the camera is selecting. And I use single point AF with Face Detection on.

Hope this helps.

Thanks John for your best settings. Function button?

I actually find myself switching between the mechanical shutter and electronic shutter (normal and high speed) fairly frequently. Much more that I thought I would. That said, I tend to keep the ISO set to AUTO because I have to menu dive to change it.
