Big rocks

A scene I've encountered a couple of times on an abandoned railroad line. Paint Creek in WV. The photo doesn't really do justice to how large this rock formation is. There is another vast boulder immediately downstream from this one, but it is mostly hidden by trees, and the stream bank is nearly vertical, so no scrambling down for a better view. The two massive boulders are visible in Google Earth's satellite view. X30 collected the photons for this view.

Those are some bit rocks for sure! Very nice shot, sums up winter well. We are finally getting snow here. I will have to see if I can get some shots like this at the local park.
