Biot ...... France

We went to the same place again to stay in our friend's villa. We had not been to Biot although it was fairly close to Valbonne where we were staying. As we had done most of the surrounding villages last year we decided to visit this one. It's renowned for glass blowing although we didn't find the glass blowing area until we were driving out of the village and so gave it a miss. This was not a pretty, pretty chocolate box town but one very much "au natural". At first it seemed rather dull and dreary but we persevered and walked into the back streets. Funnily enough, although we revisited the "nice" places like Saint Paul de Vence and Mougins, I found this to be rather more of an interesting visit.
