A rainy day always brings out the avians.
These are in my front yard, so I'm able to stay in the house and use a telephoto lens. The rain was coming down steadily, which you can see in a couple of the images. The birds tend to eat the seed so fast that it getting wet isn't an issue. I do clean the feeders from time to time to make sure mold doesn't get a foothold.
Not really. You do see droppings directly around the feeders, but it's never been an issue.I have a question - you must have a fair number of birds visiting your yard every day. Does this mean that there is a high likelihood of bird droppings that you have to deal with?
