For over two decades I've had a pro-bono arrangement with Zip Zap Circus School. Their energy and vibrancy are infectious and their goals and achievements certainly admirable.
Thus it was an immense honour to be asked to be the official photographer last week when the co-founder (herself French) was awarded a knighthood by the Republic of France.
The function was held at the historic estate and current residence of the Premier of the Western Cape - Leeuwenhof (built in 1764)
I was sweating bullets prior to the event, since it took place in the evening and they asked for no flash because it would be disruptive to a live-stream, mainly for family and friends in France.
I took the Nikon Z6ii which has IBIS and works wonders in low light, and it didn't disappoint. This morning a series of my images were posted on LinkedIn, so I feel free to share now.
