Today I made these two pictures which make me think about my own youth:

Playing Lord of the Rings Risk with my 10-year old son and losing... by Fotobakkerij, on Flickr

I liked to watch little insects when I was a kid but I never was creative enough to turn an old aquarium into a terrarium.
I used to be good in Risk when I was young and when Risk was based on a regular map.
But now I'm a proud daddy :)

Brooklyn Apartment

Sometimes you walk into a place and you get this vibe from the windows and the walls and the floors and the stuff inside. You walk slowly through room by room just feeling the place, getting a sense of the volumes and the layout and the stories the walls would tell. And you look around and you think to yourself, "yeah, black and white will work here nicely."
