B&W Black & White, monotone and sepia

Sorry for delayed response Ripleysbaby,

As part of the rennovation / restoration of the church they sandblasted the frontage that gave that new cotswold stone look, many of us have commented on that but we will have to wait for it to weather and tone down.

Thanks. Still bucketing with rain here, I doubt our January sunshine total to date has reached double figures :( I've recently taken to downsizing for the web using the facility within Photoshop, CS2 in my case and think that it subtly darkens the image a little, so for these 2 I re-opened the jpeg image and made a small adjustment to the levels. It seemed to bring back the more open, sunny feel to the image that I was seeing in my converted tiff. These were taken in April 2012 whilst I was scouting the mainline for places to photograph steam operations. Funny how the weather was not always so photogenic when the steamers were running.
