Some candidates that didn't make it in for the Single In January shots. It's been a long while since I've used my EPL-5 for these types of shots and I think it did quite well. All shot with the 40-150mm f/4.0-5.6 still amazes me, especially for its price.
I'm sorry I did not jot down the name of this village. The guys we were visiting in Phonsavan took us up Route 7 to Muang Kham and a hot springs, as well as to a sobering visit to the Tham Piu cave. We stopped at the village briefly and then headed home. I'll email Vong, my friend in Phonsavan, and ask him which village he took us to. It can take some time, and I wanted to get these up.

While maybe not most people's cup o tea I really like this kind of processing! The two images at your flickr with the christmas tree farm in the foreground with Hood in the background - the color of the trees in the one you modified heavily with the sky of the other would be equally awesome! Always great to mix real with surreal - I think.
