Nice set. This sort of thing is endlessly fascinating.

I remember visiting there as a kid, way back in the early '60's. They discouraged people back then from entering the houses/buildings if I recall correctly. It impressed me as a very harsh environment so the people that lived there must have had a really good reason for doing so. With no trees around to speak of, all the wood had to be imported. That in itself would have been quite the undertaking given the technology available back when it was settled.
