I went to Castle Combe on Sat to photograph the British Motorcycle Championships, a long hot day from 10.15am until 5.30pm so great weather that did however cause quite a lot of heat haze from the track.

A good few races but due to some mishaps a fair few periods of no action but I still managed to grab some images with both the Fuji XT2 + 100-400 for the racing.

Thanks Kyle, they were going so fast even round the bends that I wanted to ensure the images were sharp hence the 1/8000. I am happy to shoot at 3200iso as the results are very good and the sensor really delivers.

The full set can be seen here if anyone is interested - 571 Photography

Outstanding work Ian. Just shows how Fujis can handle higher ISO's and I cant wait to try out my 100-400 at RIAT on Saturday.

Thanks Paul, I hope you have a great time on Sat and I am sure the 100-400 will deliver for you. I am going to an "Off site pay & view" area tomorrow to grab photos of the Friday rehearsals, hopefully there will be some good flying.
