News Bruce Gilden “I’ll be broke in a year”

If anyone is interested, check out Gilden's website. In particular, his new stuff, which is at the bottom of the page. Apparently, he is now shooting in color with some digital gear donated to him from Leica. His new projects are quite interesting with some dynamic images. Bruce Gilden

I mean, I don't hate his work. Some of it is really compelling. I think his schtick, the in-your-face street ambushes, are the least interesting work he does. Viewing them gets old for me almost immediately. Much of the other stuff is really interesting. I think he's a better portrait photographer than he gives himself credit for. He's always tiptoeing on the line of humanitarian/humanist photographer and stopping short.
