Fuji Bulb mode

Hi everyone!

I'm using a mechanical cable-release on my X-e1, but the bulb mode seems to be stuck on 30 seconds.

Can anyone help?

Hi, Hans.

Bulb mode will work for up to an hour or so. If you're only getting 30 seconds I think you're in T (time) mode rather than bulb, perhaps?

You are locking down the plunger on your mechanical release? I have one I use as well and also on the X100S and it works fine in bulb when I use it.

Turns out the problem is you have the aperture ring in A. At least that's what went on with mine when I tested it just now.

You must select an aperture and not have the ring in A

Thanks for Your help. Turns out that the long exposure function was turned to "off". The simplest explanation turned out to be right one
