Let me begin thanking @Irene McC for choosing my picture in her challenge.

I'd like to see street imagest, pushed towards fashion environmental portraits - the goal is engagement with the viewer (and not merely ogling the beautiful people).
Here a few samples from the wild where I mostly failed, but tried nonetheless.

The standard rules apply:

As usual, this Challenge will consider originality, technical merit and artistic vision.
No change to the tried and trusted rules, which are as follows:

1. Either take pictures that match the nominated theme or select some from your portfolio. You must be the photographer that created the image in order to enter it.
2. Only one entry per challenge, please. If you want to withdraw an entry and replace it with another, that is OK, but you must make it clear in the post containing your
replacement pictures that this is what you've done. You can add or change the title and add to the edit line to let everyone know.
3. The decision of the curator at the end of the challenge is final - don't give him/her a hard time about it: this is just a friendly photo challenge, after all!
4. The winner will assume the responsibility of curator for the next Challenge, and as soon as possible post a message in a new thread in the Cameraderie Photo Challenges forum,
with details of the new theme. Don't forget - the opening message must include a copy of these instructions, which also double as the rules.
5. The curator cannot enter in his / her / their own challenge.

This challenge is now open and will run for slightly less than a month as I hopefully should leave right after it ends - so September 15th is the limit.

I've decided to pick an image from Paris but not of a fashionable young thing - it always amazes me how there is no age limit there to cutting edge fashion to the point I have never seen so many fashionable over 70s in the city. It's different from other places in that respect and I've gone for a "street" image reflecting this.

On the streaming Zombie series I worked on, which we shot on location in Durango, México, back in 2019, the crew from 'Vestuario' - aka the Wardrobe Department - always somehow seemed to be stylish themselves, even in the middle of hot, dusty, difficult working conditions. Here are two of them hanging out on the location where we were filming... and lookin' good, as they always managed to do.

My thanks to @Alf and I just want to say, l feel honored because the nature and quality of every single other one of the entries in this contest were really very very remarkable (and cool). Especially @rayvonn's amazing street-fashion shot which blew me away. And also, I think Alf deserves a special shout-out for the first of the sample images he posted at the beginning of the thread: that monochrome shot of the bowler-hatted man taking a smartphone photo has a truly mesmerizing quality to it.

I'll do my best to come up with something worthy within the next few days.

Congratulations, Miguel, I'm curious to see what you will come up with. And thanks to Alf for this very intriguing challenge that had many very cool interpretations.

Thank you, Milan. Actually, I have already come up with a new theme for the next Challenge and it is now up and running.

AND FOR EVERYONE ELSE WHO (hopefully) MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN THE NEW CHALLENGE - here's a link to the page--

Please check it out :)
