There are a two-image challenges in the past. What's better than a two-image challenges? A Collage with three images !! :p

I was looking at some photo books and often found it amazing the editor can present a story from the photos. So, this month challenge is to produce a collage with (at least) three photos.
I assume you need to at least put them into one file/image instead of posting separate pictures to be a collage.

The standard rules apply:

As usual, this Challenge will consider originality, technical merit and artistic vision.
No change to the tried and trusted rules, which are as follows:

1. Either take pictures that match the nominated theme or select some from your portfolio. You must be the photographer that created the image in order to enter it.
2. Only one entry per challenge, please. If you want to withdraw an entry and replace it with another, that is OK, but you must make it clear in the post containing your
replacement pictures that this is what you've done. You can add or change the title and add to the edit line to let everyone know.
3. The decision of the curator at the end of the challenge is final - don't give him/her a hard time about it: this is just a friendly photo challenge, after all!
4. The winner will assume the responsibility of curator for the next Challenge, and as soon as possible post a message in a new thread in the Cameraderie Photo Challenges forum,
with details of the new theme. Don't forget - the opening message must include a copy of these instructions, which also double as the rules.
5. The curator cannot enter in his / her / their own challenge.

This challenge will open August 10, 2024 and will run until August 31, 2024 - 21:00 UTC+2 (or as close as I manage to log in)

Out of competition ... just for an appetizer. Give 5354photos something to work on. Make it a real challenge.

This hangs on the wall in my living-room (60x80 cm). The middle photo is the original (window of a small tower in town), the others around it are the results of 'homo ludens' fooling around with PP software.

@Wee-pics

The teapots collage makes me smile somehow. So, clever and creative. Also saw careful and thoughtful selection of photos. I would buy such teapot in KaDeWe !
@donlaw
I only hope he would not need to take any more photo on this type of damage. The bottom two images see the photographer thoughtful ideas.
@JensM
Each photo contains “simple” color but with subtle gradient , 3 dimensional shapes and lovely texture. Multiply them by 3 to become a lovely creative artistic photographic collage.
@MiguelATF
We have a blazingly colorful photo that I can feel the vibrant joyful atmosphere. (Can’t guess it’s Halloween !) The unique angle of the leg and the colorful faces contributes to the success of this collage. Just one small complaint imho is the white border of the colleague.
@Irene McC
Four different photos of the key guitarist.I like the thoughtful curation especially on the poses of the 4 photos. Each photo can stand on its own. The collage powerfully shows the performance.
Seriously, I like all the entries a lot. Saw lots of ideas and inspiration. Editing and curating them into a collage is a not a simple easy job especially . Well done. I once thought about awarding two winners...Anyway, my humble opinion has selected Irene McC as the winner of this challenge with the action packed collage. Oh...you also led me going to youtube to check out the band. Shout out to MiguelATF as honorable runners up.

Congratulations Irene! Looking forward to seeing your theme for Cameraderie Challenge # 73

Goodness! Thank you - I am totally blown away with surprise actually.

I was looking for some other stuff on an external archive hard drive and came across this and entered it on a whim. At the time I was using Lightroom for which I had various saved layout recipes for collages, which I really enjoyed making. But since swopping software to Capture One, I no longer have that ability and am sorry to have lost it.

Thank you again. Now I'll have to think of the next challenge theme!

Congrats Irene! Very nice images and they came together in a very strong collage!

Also thanks to Mike for hosting such a fun amd unique challenge! Unfortunately I've been crazy busy so I didn't manage to participate but I really like the entries that your challenge inspired!
