Description
For sale is a Canon 50/0.95 lens, late production- not RF coupled and not marked “TV”. Condition as shown, glass is near perfect, aperture blades have the slightest trace of oil on the tips that has never affected operation, finish is good EXCEPT the knicks in the rear mount as shown. These do not affect operation. The included C-Mount adapter has the edges files down to permit infinity focus on an u43 adapter. Specialty shops have converted this lens to RF coupled M-Mount. It can also be used on mirrorless cameras using a Canon 7 mount adapter, available in NEX mount and other mounts for ~$100.

Added- Ken Ruth of Bald Mountain Photography advertises the conversion service and lists $350 as the cost to convert this type (No RF Coupling) to RF coupled M-Mount.

You know, the problem with Paypal is I treat it like Monopoly Money...

ANYWAY! The cash from this deal went towards the second type of lens that David Douglas Duncan used in the Korean War. This lens is from the same batch, and my Nikkor 5cm F1.5 is also from the same batch that DDD bought. These lenses were in the factory when he visited.

And- I put the Wollensak up on Ebay. More Monopoly Money...
