Update (3/4/20): Canon is temporarily shutting down three of its factories due to supply shortages caused by COVID-19

The five camera-producing factories are set to close from March 2 to March 13, with the missed days set to be rescheduled later this year when supplies are no longer scarce.

This is a good example of the domino affect that is happening because of the situation in China. Many manufacturers with products that, at first glance, are not "Made in China" but are being severely affected because of their reliance on Chinese parts suppliers*.
