The man in front of the car is my friend's father, who was an accomplished photographer.
He was a veteran of US war efforts, and loved photography. I chose to honor him in this photo.

First displayed prototype as opposed to first production Ford Mustang.
The production model is serial number 001.

I've never seen that prototype before. I dig it! I love the aesthetic of the original Mustang, but it's too bad that prototype didn't make it to production. A bit of a GT40 look to it, I guess.

Yeah, it's not well-known, but I love that it's displayed next to the first mass-production model to come off the production line.
