Many years ago I saw a GT40 parked on the side of a state highway in Pennsylvania - the original, not the relaunched Ford GT. Not a soul was in sight. I was flabbergasted. I took pictures.. it was back in the film days...
Yes. I remember being in "the middle of nowhere Colorado" and seeing an ancient pickup (like 1920s era) being driven down the road. The very next car, a few minutes later was a GT40, just driving along as though it was normal.
