This is just beautiful, Michael. I often wish I lived somewhere there is snow at Christmas time. Even though I live in the Antipodes, our Christmas cards, songs and nearly everything (even the food) is based on a northern winter... and its as much a part of our heritage as meat pies, kangaroos and Holden cars (although thats set to change in 2017 when General Motors shuts down its Australian operation).
Apologies for the HTML to present the pic, I cannot seem to access BBCode and the link from here doesn't work for me. That is, using the direct link and plugging it in to the IMG code. Took a little walk down the street, Tom came with me.
I've actually used an app called Flickery to upload and then grab the share link (I hoped the BBCode might be there, but no). Mac users who are finding flickr a royal PITA might want to check it in the app store. There's another with nearly identical functionality called F-Stop, as well.
This photo lost something in the original version, so I "translated" it with a (conservative for me) pass through Topaz Star Effects. I'm looking for one of these peacocks in the after Christmas sales!
