Hi there. My first chromebook went dead. I have purchased a new one, a Toshiba chromebook 2.
I will like the bigger screen.
I got drive with 20 gb storage. [existing]
How to proceed to merge 100 gb free storage from the Toshiba chromebook with my existing drive capacity?
I like to stay using my main email account.

Thanks for your help and advice.

Best regards, Herman

Hi Herman,

Your 100GB storage is on Google Drive (cloud), right?

And the 20GB drive is a physical drive in your new Chromebook?

I take it your Google Drive is under one email account and you use a different email to login to the Chromebook. Is that correct? If so, are both emails Google emails?

Thanks Amin for replying. 100GB storage is on Google Drive. [free gift from Google with my new chromebook] 20GB storage is existing on Google Drive. [from my first chromebook]
Both emails are Google emails.
I like to merge existing plus new into one 120GB Google Drive account.

According to me one drive is connected to one chromebook and one gmail account.
Why is that? I don't know.
Meaning if you have 5 chromebooks you will need 5 different gmail accounts.
In order to get 100GB free online storage during 2 years on Google drive.

If the 100GB is already associated with a different Google email than the 20GB, I'm pretty sure there is no way to merge them.
