I visited Chatham Dockyard in Kent recently. They have a submarine there that you can actually walk around in. Yikes.....I could not wait to get off. How so many people can work in such a confined space AND underwater for weeks at a time! They are either mad or deserve a medal! There was almost nowhere I could stand to my full 6ft 3 inches....nor lay down on. The kitchen had the square footage of a large hanky and turned out 3 meals a day for scores of sailors. A long hot shower? No way! Privacy in the loo? Fanciful thinking!

if humankind wasn't so bent on killing people, there would be no need to build such an unpleasant device in which to live.

The shots look great in mono.

Thanks Luke. By the way, this was the HMS Ocelot; sister sub to the one that sunk the Belgrano during the Falklands conflict. So, having visited it is easier to imagine going to war in one of these sardine cans
