Color images from nature

Invariably when I have my superzoom, I'll see a scene that demands high IQ, and then when I'm shooting a scene with my X100, I see something in the scene that makes me wish I had my superzoom with me (See the deer in the lighted clearing in the back)

When i need more zoom on my EX1 i use my binoculars ! It needs a little practice, but it works fine

#2 after some editing....( it doesn't produce a pricewinner but gives nice evidence !! )

I was messing around with doing more realistic HDR pictures, which can be quite hard using Nik HDR Efex. I don't think the first shot turned out too bad.

And this is the same image I just sent it to Silver Efex to play around and I got to thinking I hadn't done any muted color pictures through Silver Efex in a while using the control points and the selective color adjustment. A little haloing around the tree so I may have to see if I can fix that in PS. Also added some grain to the picture while in Silver Efex.
