The last whale was killed at Davidson Whaling Station in 1929. Located near Eden on the far south coast of New South Whales, Australia, it was unique as the local Aborigines showed the whalers how to use Orcas to drive the whales in towards the boats. The killer whales were rewarded with the leftovers. This animal-people relationship lasted for 90 years by which time there were other competitors for oil which made whaling uneconomic.
beauty of a light there and dig the shallow dof too. Nice work! Such a simple scene most people would walk past. But.... as you do.....you have to have the eye for the shot.
