Film Color slide portraits

This was shot in 1983. How do I remember? Well, it was just after my father's 70th birthday, and the roses are for him from my brother. He would be 101 now. Although he died in 1985, this old slide makes him as present to me as if I took it yesterday. That's the great magic of the combination of a photograph with love. It doesn't even have to be a good photograph, the love accomplishes what technique misses. He's with my mother now, who passed away about a month ago. I don't think I will ever stop missing them.

I have not shot slide film in over a decade. This is a shot of my then fiancé, now wife, from 1994 when we started dating

Kodachrome 64 shot on a Canon T90 and nFD 35-105mm 3.5-4.5.
