Colours and shape

Following my trip into town I headed out for a good walk across the hills and to enjoy the views toward Hereford and the Malvern Hills, I walked through the woods and captured images of colours / light and shapes.

Thanks Mike, I guessed you were just kidding! Thanks Tony it was perfect weather for this type of work - all changed yesterday though, rain all day!

Nice series. We do not get the seasonal color you have captured. I especially like the fifth shot; looks like a monster's foot.

Thanks Dean, then moss was very vibrant following the rain and it reminded me of one of those medieval movie shots.

What is on the cow? That may be a very stupid question but I can't make out what that is. lol

Thanks Safari and Britanica, the cows are roaming loose on the hillside and are very docile. We had been through a few days of continuous rain and fallen leaves were damp and rotting and the cows moving through the woods were covered in them as well as over bits of vegetation that was rotting. The red colour is just a natural colour on their hair - they are real characters and this one was quite happy to be photographed.
