Empty downtown Atlanta about 2 weeks ago... It's emptier now I'm sure. These streets are normally extremely busy with vehicles and pedestrian traffic. The first 2 shots are the motor lobby of the Marriott Marquis Tower 2, normally full of cars and people.

I've decided that since I am getting my exercise by walking around the areas of my neighborhood, I'm going to start documenting the effects of the COVID policies, where ever I can. So I take different routes every day.

Here are todays crop:

This is the iconic The Varsity Drive In, clogging arteries in Atlanta since 1928.... Normally quite busy but now... Eerily empty and closed for maybe the first time

More storefronts and such. Tried out the WCL-X100II adapter for these.

No pic here, but after I mowed our yard I spent about 30 minutes pedaling my bike casually up and down our street. It was extremely quiet except for one neighbor cutting his own grass and another walking out to get his mail. A steady breeze from the approaching storm was blowing the whole time, and the sun played hide & seek with the building cumulus clouds. Very peaceful . . . it was easy to forget for a while that the whole world is in chaos.
