My daughter and my son-in-law decided that I would spend a couple of weeks with them for Thanksgiving. They knew that with my wife just passing that a holiday alone was not to be. They drove to pick me and my three dogs up and brought me to their home in Plano, Texas. Yesterday, they took me to the longhorn cattle drive in Ft. Worth. I swear I have never seen a place quite like this and I am a world traveler. Young and older women in cut-off denim shorts much too tight with cowboy boots that varied from normal boots to over-the-knee boots. Before the cattle drive, the street was full of low-rider cars with the epitome being an older Chevrolet with every inch of the hydraulic hopping car being decorated with Dallas Cowboy stuff. The cattle drive was really nice and I got some shots of the cowboys herding them and of the longhorns.
After the drive was over, a fake gunfight was done in the railroad tunnel and it was overdone but got your attention when the guns fired. This was the first time I was out without Linda and I am now trying to create new memories.
The last photo is of my daughter and son-in-law.
