My daughter needed Adobe products for school last year, so I signed her up for the Student Price. After 1-year, if you do not explicitly cancel the subscription it renews at the $30 per month rate. Too expensive for how much it gets used, so I canceled. My Lightroom 6 still works- which is all I end up using, and I have the one-time buy version. It still works.

I am uninstalling the packages, they use a lot of disk space.

I'm not spending as much time taking photos so I thought that I'd quit Adobe CC.
Surprise surprise …. Adobe gave me two free months so I'm still with them.

During the year I spent money on ON1's Photo Raw as a possible replacement but , although it's good , it's not that good AND they replace it each year so that you cough up more money.
On reflection my CC subscription isn't too bad.
