This is the most interesting depiction of Saint Francis of Assisi that I can remember. The eyes are closed and the head tilted upwards, he is holding flowers and what appears to be a cane.

It got me an interesting discussion with the owner who splits time between Colorado and backwoods Argentina - a lifestyle I am trying to get to.

That's the face of someone enjoying sunlight on the face or I am sorely mistaken!

A hidden homestead - I went out to my folks' yesterday, they live quite a ways off the beaten path. Took this quick snap while driving, so it is probably not sharp. And yes, the experts and anyone with sense says not to drive distracted by operating things like cameras (even blind), but a country road as quiet as the one I was on doesn't always count, I think.
