I got it. I had to hover over the download warning, then choose the 3 little dots. It asked if I wanted to delete the file or exit, or click next. When I clicked next I had the option to 'keep anyway'. Not very reassuring!

Once I had told it to keep anyway, the Unknown CRD icon converted to the standard DT icon and I was able to download. must be some security setting in my computer.

Also learned a way to create a cumulative Dodge/Burn brush using exposure and 'sum mode' (I had no idea!), and it works very well! This is a neat trick that most probably don't know exists. Watch the video, well worth the time!

I made two presets, a dodge and a burn. To keep it simple I set the EV at -1 and + 1 respectively, with an opacity of around 18% (for no apparent reason). Each can be activated using a new instance of Exposure. One I start using them I can tweak as needed.
