I have a long day ahead of me which doesn't bode well for my picture-taking possibilities, so I am taking the liberty of posting this photo now, which I took some hours ago. A subway train entering an above-ground station, in Mexico City. Taken with my LX7 in Dynamic Monochrome mode.

Really good, conveys a sense of motion. LX7 did a nice job with the conversion.

Apt title. I really like how you composed this, accentuating the "face".

day 24

Only chance to grab a photo today was at local store where i found Jack Skellington with fish. (Made me think about that song: So long and thanks for all the fish)
Tried to make it a bit more creepy using a TriX film emulation (thanks to the freebie DXO promotion).
But maybe it was creepy enough to find what has become of one of my favorite animated movie characters.

Ramblin' around the Black River pond earlier this afternoon...

The sense of dark and light here - the contrast/s - is/are really nice. So is the sharp focus on the leaves with the blurry dark background shapes. But what I really like are the darker shadows on some of the lighter leaves....they remind me of seeing shadows of clouds pass over otherwise sunny landscapes sometimes, but within a narrower focus. Really nice.
