Congratulations with achieving the 31st milestone. Yeahhhh! Here is mine, which was a last minute choice (I'll post the other one in day 32)

31-Take my breath (air) away (it is an octopus - familiar to the divers among us - that is used by my diving buddy when he/she is out-of-air or vice versa of course).

Day 31 – Underworld

As it happens this was my own prompt suggestion which I saved till last.

The sort of idea running through my head at the time was turning over a stone & seeing what lies beneath it.

Well here we have the same principle but in image terms – what lays beneath an image when we start to delve and explore, what do we find?

Sometimes it just slaps you in the face.

This image pretty much epitomises the August Challenge for me as I learnt something new each day & from every one of the snaps.

Thanks to Briar for instigating it and thanks to all who took part. It’s been fun as well as a good and worthwhile experience.

Taken from my Kindle reader.

And finished! All photos were by prompt except one. Thoroughly enjoyed this challenge. Now onward. September calls.

Final one for August. RIP Summer 2013 (although summer is not actually over, school has started back)

That is quite a puzzle! I (think I) recognize some things but I do not have a clue "what lies beneath" in this case. Cool photo though!!

Cheers Peter

The original colour photo was quite boring and ordinary - I nearly deleted it
This is more or less a straight negative plus a bit of colour added to the central area where it was bleached out

I just enjoy it for its colour & patterns created (with hidden faces)
