Looks good, both with the top and the bottom, Tony. And I'm still astonished how you get the fine-curved smooth necks out of such solid blocks of wood. Is there still a slight gap (a bit of air) on the left?

Talk about GAS, refined ;) Trouble is, I actually *can* relate (but happily never got drawn in this deeply).

Nothing can beat handwriting with one of these. For a long time I used an expensive one of a different brand.
A recent research by neurologists found out that when children don't learn continuous handwriting (in one flow) certain areas in the brain don't develop the neurological "networking" and connections important for all the necessary intellectual and coordinating functions. Allowing kids to write on tablets or PCs only or to write in single letters (like typewriters) thus blocks mental development and should be banned at least in primary schools. It is a time window, which is then closed forever.
