I'm running a script right now to cut an oval in a scrap piece of Maple. I want to make sure the cut is accurate before I plop a piece of good wood under there. Looks like I need to tighten one of the grub screws better.

Without mentioning names or making personal judgements, some of the recent corrosive and exaggerated public statements which we (I'm referring mainly to my fellow citizens, though including by extension all of humanity) have been exposed to (and occasionally pummeled with) over the last few days... have left me see-sawing between despair, hope, and occasional bursts of disbelief. Going back and forth like this, on a daily and occasionally an hourly basis, has left me so stressed that...at times it's hard to recognize the face looking back at me in the mirror.
