Nice old memories again. Don't know how many hours I spent trying to win over the machine. But all this wasn't half as fascinating as those pinball machines where you could get lots of free games when you knew the laws of physics.

Sometimes it takes me months or years to fully come to grips with - or adopt - some new technologies.
One of those is wi-fi for any of my digital cameras. For a whole slew of reasons, I've never been interested.
This morning, though, God knows why? I decided to fool around with my X30 and see if I could a) make it communicate easily with my iPhone, and b) transfer digital photos between camera and smartphone... which of course led to c) transferring the previously-transfered photos from smartphone to my desktop Mac.

It was rather fun.
