Have to admit Clarkson's dry wit and narrating style were memorable. I like the car. And those people standing in the road or along the edge as that rally version came screaming around a muddy corner were barking mad.
My first 205 GRD kept running till I sold it with 250.000 km and I was told it made another 100.000 km. When driving leasurely in between 70 and 90 km/h it needed just 3.4 liters of diesel. An example of ecology long before people started debating on this. And I drove two more 307 to 250.000 . None of them had any serious problems and besides a failing battery and the usual check-ups I had no money to spend.
I like this photo a lot, and the portrait orientation. At first wasn't sure about the blocky buildings in the foreground, but then understood the foreground/background layering of new to old and harsh to soft (buildings, mountains, and sky).
In the produce department at the local organic Food Co-op slash supermarket, it's business as usual - which in this pandemic era means conscientiously wearing one's mask--
