Over the last few years I had converted to mostly reading only ebooks. This was partly due to my work requiring me spending so much time traveling. Bringing along a hardback or even a paperback book would just add more weight. Plus the backlighting of an iPad allowed reading on a dark plane without bothering fellow travelers with the overhead light. So I have been delighted rediscovering the joy of sitting down and reading real hardback books. This one is a sci fi story with aliens and intrigue. Given to me by daughter for Christmas.
