I've been itching to build another ukulele. it's not like I need any more instruments, but I have a spare ukulele neck, so I'm combining it with some wood I have laying around. Sitka Spruce for the top. Maple for the back. Ash salvaged from an old pallet board for the sides, and yes, I'll be incorporating the nail holes into the design.
A cold gray day with sheets of rain pouring down outside... so I am staying indoors.
And, when in doubt - in the never-ending search for photographic subjects - I look around the bookcases in my office. Which seem to be filled with years of knick-knacks that I had (and have) honestly forgotten.

One of the cool things about small-sensored compact cameras is their built-in macro capability... and I have to say, it's one of the (many) things that make me appreciate my X30.
