My bicycle ride around town took me past one of the many burned areas (from the wildfire) which are in the (very slow) process of cleanup and, eventually, reconstruction. Some areas are totally cleaned up; but in other spots, one sees the twisted sculptures which the fire made out of automobiles and buildings.

It's sober stuff... but at least for me, makes for compelling documentary photography.
