The oil finish on the guitar is coming along nicely. After today, I'll let the guitar sit for 7 days, then polish the back and sides with a light coat of Tru-Oil and 600 grit silicon carbide paper. Following that, I'll buff them with a soft linen cloth. Allowing for full curing of the oil finish, I'm looking at final assembly some time near the end of March.

I bet these feel pleasingly dangerous to drive.
Looks already nice and smooth'n'silky. The wood grain comes out beautifully. Another beauty on the finishing line.
I see them fairly often around the Galveston area. I might rent one someday just for fun. But agree they look a bit dangerous. Personally I prefer 4 wheels and AWD is even better.
