Lots of sanding later. Taken right before re-taping the bridge location and re-applying a coat of shellac. If I didn't like the building process so much, I'd be pulling out my non-existent hair.

Walking through a forest near Diamond Lake, in the southern Cascade mountains of Oregon, I stumbled (metaphorically) upon another fascinating tree growth, this one apparently 'bleeding' with the tree's sap.
