Yesterday I applied 4 coats of shellac, each about 4 hours apart, buffing lightly between coats. After allowing the final coat to dry overnight, I've begun applying the final Tru-Oil coats in very thin layers.

P.S. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's shot - because that'll document what I achieved today (in better light than I can do it today, and I want natural light!).
